Hapi is a truly special horse with a goofy, almost dog-like personality that makes him a barn favorite.

He’s playful, curious, and loves interaction—whether it’s a game of tug-of-war or chasing things blowing across the pasture. That same enthusiasm carries over to his work, where he has developed a genuine love for jumping.

Still green but extremely willing, Hapi has shown no spook or stop and approaches new questions with confidence. He has a naturally even stride that would suit the hunter ring, while his scope and bravery make him versatile enough for jumpers or cross-country.

Hapi raced lightly with just three starts before being purchased off the track as a 3-year-old. After a short period with amateur riders, he was given time off to mature.

Over the past year, he has been in consistent professional training. He was restarted over fences by Ali Alessandro, including exposure to cross-country elements such as liverpools, ditches, and banks—none of which phased him.

He is currently in training with Micci Mangus of Skylark Equine and continues to progress well.

Due to his age and stage of training, Hapi would benefit from remaining in a professional program to continue his development.
